We steep Assam black tea and our blend of rich, earthy spices including cardamom, ginger root, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper in every batch. Then we add organic raw cane sugar to bring a sweetness that balances out the flavors. No artificial flavors or artificial colors are used in our recipes.
Maya Chai's Devi Concentrate takes our unique blend of spices to a new, heightened level. Featuring less sweet notes than the Original flavor and fueled-up fiery notes, Devi Chai is the perfect concentrate for anyone seeking an authentic taste of the east.
We kept all the same flavors from our heritage recipe. Using all natural monk fruit as a sweetener allowing us to use 70% less sugar than our original recipe.
Every batch of Maya Chai is brewed and bottled in Southern Arizona but its rich, authentic Indian taste is guided by an old family recipe. We start with whole leaf black tea and freshly ground spices steeped in clean filtered water, and then add organic cane sugar for just the right sweetness.
We know how busy you are. That's why we've developed a chai that's shelf-stable (no 'fridge needed) and stays good for up to 6 months once opened. Our chai is also versatile! Maya Chai can be used to make traditional hot chai, iced lattes, blended drinks, shakes, tea sodas, and even baked goods!
